South Milwaukee Human Concerns
Offering help and hope since 1973

Incredible Gratitude to Our South Milwaukee Friends and Neighbors:

South Milwaukee Human Concerns is beyond grateful and humbled for the outpouring of support given to us at the October 15 “After the Flood: A Night of Help and Hope for Human Concerns.” The major damage and cleanup costs from the August flood were the worst disaster in the 52-year history of our operations. South Milwaukee responded in a big way! More than 200 area residents attended the sold-out event generously hosted by the Bucyrus Club and Event Center. With a goal of helping to mitigate a loss of almost $100,000, the monetary support raised at the event will go toward putting us on a more stable financial path. “Thank you” seems so inadequate to all those who attended or did not attend but donated, all showing their deep appreciation for our mission of help and hope for those in need. Our hearts are filled with appreciation beyond words and we have been given blessings beyond measure. We are so fortunate to call this caring community of South Milwaukee home.

Mission: South Milwaukee Human Concerns is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization receiving no taxpayer funds that delivers
critical help and hope to needs-based residents through emergency food, clothing and other essential services.

Location: 1029 Milwaukee Avenue, South Milwaukee, WI 53172
